Akeem Jordan signs tender with Eagles
Linebacker Akeem Jordan has signed his one-year tender with the Philadelphia Eagles as a restricted free agent.
Jordan had a solid season, appearing in 12 games and making 10 starts as he made 82 tackles and had two interceptions. He’s also one of the team’s top performers on special teams and has 55 tackles over the last three seasons.
Originally an undrafted free agent from James Madison, Jordan has turned into a real find for the organization. He’s expected to be the starting weak-side linebacker this coming season. Because he was undrafted, the Eagles tendered Jordan at the second-round level, meaning he stands to earn $1.684 million this season.
