Albert Haynesworth rests knee again today

Albert Haynesworth continues to cram for his conditioning test.

OK, maybe he’s not studying feverishly, but he’s not taking the test today either. Haynesworth tested out his balky knee this morning and opted not to try Mike Shanahan’s conditioning test, the one he is required to pass in order to be cleared to join his teammates in practice.

Haynesworth failed the test last Thursday and Friday and has been resting up since. Per the Washington Post, he jogged lightly this morning before determining the knee was too sore to give it a whirl today and run two timed 300-yard shuttles.

That relegated Haynesworth to watching practice and then doing some simple barrel drills after practice again. Hey, there is always week two of training camp. Right?
