Andre Johnson could be out up to six weeks
A couple of days ago, Andre Johnson was holding out hope that he could practice this week and perhaps play Sunday when the Houston Texans visit the Tennessee Titans.
Now, Johnson said his recover from a hamstring injury suffered two weeks ago against Pittsburgh, is going to take longer and could put him out for up to six weeks total.
Speaking on 610 Sports in Houston, Johnson said, “They say it could take up to six weeks at the most. But I don’t think it will take me that long.”
Meanwhile, the Texans are 0-2 since Johnson suffered the injury and head into a game against the Titans that will be for the AFC South lead. The quicker Johnson heals, the better the Texans' shot of making the postseason for the first time in franchise history.
