Beanie Wells says 'it's crazy' after he barely plays
Beanie Wells would like some answers about what is going on.
Because the Arizona Cardinals running back is not happy sitting on the bench and that is what he did, for the most part, during the team’s loss at San Diego on Sunday.
“I’m not really worried about the quarterback situation. I'm worried about my situation," Wells told Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic.
“I didn't get into the game until there were four minutes left in the second quarter and I have no clue as to why,” Wells continued. “I'd like to think I'm a big part of this thing, but right now, I don't feel it."
Wells plans to meet with coach Ken Whisenhunt to clear the air, saying, “Oh, we’re definitely going to have a talk.” He carried the ball five times for 19 yards and is clearly the second option behind Tim Hightower at this point.
“It's crazy. I have no clue what they're thinking upstairs,” Well said. “I would like to know, but hey, I'm definitely not pleased about it."
