Bears expected to sign Landon Cohen

The Chicago Bears are likely to sign defensive tackle Landon Cohen with injured defensive tackle Henry Melton expected to be placed on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Triune.

Cohen worked out for the Bears on Tuesday along with defensive tackle Daniel Muir.

Cohen, 27, played last for the Dallas Cowboys.

He has played in 27 games with five starts, including previous stints with the Philadelphia Eagels, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.

Nate Collins will start in place of Melton.
