Bears hire Ryan Pace as general manager
The Chicago Bears announced the hiring of Ryan Pace on Thursday as general manager.
Pace, 37, was with the New Orleans Saints for the previous 14 seasons. He was the Saints' director of player personnel.
Pace replaces Phil Emery, who was fired after just three seasons.
"He's really good at what he does," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "He's a big part of what we do. He's very talented, and I know he's been promoted here, deservedly so, a few times."
