Bears sign Jordan Palmer, Larry Grant, cut Steve Maneri, C.J. Wilson

The Chicago Bears were busy today at Halas Hall.

They signed linebacker Larry Grant following a successful Friday tryout. Grant is a former San Francisco 49ers player from Ohio State.

They also added quarterback Jordan Palmer. Palmer is the younger brother of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer. He was with the team during the preseason.

They cut tight end Steve Maneri and cornerback C.J. Wilson, who has now been signed to the practice squad.

Wide receiver Terrence Toliver was signed to the practice squad and wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was cut from the practice squad.
