Belichick lockerroom blast woke up Patriots

The New England Patriots woke up from a 17-0 to rally past the Miami Dolphins for a 27-24 victory on Saturday.

Bill Belichick's halftime speech was apparently spicy enough that it awoke the Patriots for their second-half comeback.

“It’s probably not even legal for me to say it right now, so I won’t,” said linebacker and captain Jerod Mayo of Belichick's speech via the Boston Herald. “I’m not even going to censor it. Too many bleeps. But just know, we needed to come out and play better.”

Whatever Belichick said may not leave the walls of the Pats' lockerroom, but it worked well enough to steer the Patriots back on the right path and another step closer to the No. 1 seed overall in the AFC.
