Bengals put Pacman Jones on 53-man roster
The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they have activated Adam "Pacman" Jones onto the 53-man roster from the physically unable to perform list.
Jones, who had been working his way back from a neck injury suffered last year, was activated from the PUP list earlier this week, but the Bengals had up to three weeks to allow him to practice and determine whether or not he would be placed on the active roster.
On Friday, Jones was restored to the active roster, meaning he will be available for this week's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
More importantly, from a dramatic standpoint, it means Jones will be able to accompany the Bengals next week to Tennessee, where Jones was a first-round pick in 2005 and became the poster child for bad behavior in the NFL with a string of run-ins with police. He was a Titan during his year-long suspension in 2007 after a strip club shooting in Las Vegas.
One thing is certain: Jones will probably have a rude welcome home in Nashville on Nov. 6.
