Bengals re-sign Brandon Tate

The Cincinnati Bengals retained their career leader in punt returns and punt return yards, reaching a new deal with wide receiver Brandon Tate. Tate has 33 catches, three for touchdowns over the last five seasons. “Brandon has made big plays to help us win games, and the consistency of his work ethic and his overall play is a big plus,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. “We’re excited to have him back in the mix on both offense and special teams. He’s a player we’ve been able to count on every week.” Tate has played in 102 consecutive games dating back to 2010 with the Patriots.
