Bengals re-sign Brandon Tate

The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed free agent kick returner and wide receiver Brandon Tate. Tate visited the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, according to a league source. "Brandon has been a big contributor to the success of our team in qualifying for the playoffs the past four seasons,” coach Marvin Lewis said in a statement. “We are happy he has decided to remain a Bengal.” Tate is a former New England Patriots third-round draft pick. He was claimed off waivers by the Bengals in 2011. Tate caught 17 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown last season.
