Bengals sign Hall, Cook to extensions

The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to extensions with cornerback Leon Hall and center Kyle Cook that will keep both players under contract through the 2015 season.

“This is another step in securing our young starting players and leaders for the present and the future,” Marvin Lewis said. “We’ve strengthened the foundation on both sides of the ball in the last three days.”
The deal comes two days after tackle Andrew Whitworth agreed to a two-year, $20 million extension to stay in Cincinnati.

“I’ve always had faith in this team and these players, and it means a lot to me that the Bengals have faith in me as a person and a player,” Hall said.

Hall was a first-round pick in 2007 and has played in every Bengals game since joining the club.
