Bengals sign Marvin Lewis to contract extension

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed coach Marvin Lewis to a one-year contract extension. Lewis led the Bengals to a fifth consecutive playoff appearance last season. He went 12-4. He is 0-7 in the playoffs. Since the 2010 season, Lewis and the Bengals have agreed to four different contract extensions. Last year, it was struck on April 22. Lewis, 57, is 52-27-1 since 2011.
