Bengals sign Pat Sims

The Cincinnati Bengals signed veteran defensive tackle Pat Sims after he spent the first two years with the Oakland Raiders. It's a one-year, $870,000 contract. Sims played five seasons for the Bengals previously. Sims had 49 and 36 tackels over the past two seasons. For his career, Sims has 264 tackles, seven sacks and one interception. “Pat was a good player for us here and we think he can fill a role for us this year,” said Bengals defensive line coach Jay Hayes. “He lends a physical dimension. He’s a very aggressive run player, and we’re happy to have him back.” Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
