Big Ben will wear protective shoe
Ben Roethlisberger was still in a walking boot on Wednesday, but the Steelers quarterback will wear something different on his sprained left foot Sunday Pittsburgh hosts the Tennessee Titans.
Roethlisberger will wear the same sort of protective steel-toe oversized shoe that he wore last year on his right foot when he played through a broken bone, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Roethlisberger's left shoe will not only have the metal plate in it, but it will also be a size larger.
"We hope that we don't aggravate it, that's kind of the big key," Roethlisberger said.
