Biggs: Bears meet with ex-Vikings coach Tice
The Chicago Bears continued on their quest to fill out their offensive coaching staff today, meeting with former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice at Halas Hall, according to Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune.
The Bears need to hire an offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, quarterbacks coach and tight ends coach. It’s not known what position Tice discussed with the team. He has never been an offensive coordinator before but has experience working with linemen and tight ends.
Tice remains under contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars and received permission from the team to meet the Bears.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese wrapped up his two-day interview for the offensive coordinator job today.
