Biggs: Betts reportedly has torn ACL, MCL
The Washington Redskins are going to have to head out and find some help at running back.
Ladell Betts, the capable and able backup to Clinton Portis, was lost on Sunday at Dallas to what is reportedly a torn ACL and a torn MCL, a tough break for the versatile reserve.
Betts will undergo an MRI today, and now the Redskins will have to plot a new path while Portis remains out following a concussion suffered two weeks ago at Atlanta.
