Biggs: Cards report good news with DRC
It’s tough for the Arizona Cardinals to find any positives coming out of Saturday’s blowout loss at New Orleans in the divisional round of the playoffs, but they got some good news today when it was revealed Pro Bowl cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie did not suffer a torn ACL, as feared, according to the team’s Web site.
Rodgers-Cromartie limped off the Superdome field with help and Saints quarterback Drew Brees lit up the Cardinals’ secondary, which was also missing free safety Antrel Rolle, who was out with a concussion.
According to the report, he injured the MCL and it’s unknown yet if surgery will be needed. Even if it is, it’s a much better outcome than suffering a torn ACL.
