Biggs: Dallas-Cincinnati to play in Hall of Fame Game
Jerry Jones got his wish.
When longtime Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith (an ex-Cardinal as well) was a slam dunk selection for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Super Bowl weekend, Jones said it would be nice to be able to celebrate as an organization at the Hall of Fame Game on the weekend of the induction ceremony.
He got his wish. The NFL announced that the Cowboys will play the Cincinnati Bengals in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio. The game will be televised by NBC. If you’re counting down the days like Brian McCarthy from the NFL’s public relations office, it’s just 175 days away.
