Biggs: Giants LB Boley has knee surgery
New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this morning to repair a partially torn meniscus, the team announced.
Boley is expected to miss four weeks which will mean four games for the Giants, who do not have a bye until Week 10.
He had a sack and five tackles in the game and was just beginning to get in a groove in the defense after undergoing hip surgery in the offseason and serving a one-game suspension during Week 1.
Chase Blackburn started on the weak side in place of Boley in Week 1.
The Giants host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
