Biggs: Lenon has to pay up for horse collar
St. Louis Rams linebacker Paris Lenon was fined $7,500 by the NFL for a horse-collar violation in last Sunday’s loss at Chicago.
Lenon dragged down Bears’ running back Matt Forte on a run during the third quarter. A 15-yard penalty was called on the play, and it helped the Bears along in their drive to take a 17-6 lead.
Most horse collar penalties have been drawing penalties this season.
