Biggs: Migraines keeping Harvin sidelined
The positive for the Minnesota Vikings is that migraines have forced rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin to the sideline early in the week, giving him ample time to be ready for Sunday’s game with the Cincinnati Bengals at the Metrodome.
Harvin missed practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, and coach Brad Childress said persistent migraines are affecting him, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The Star Tribune detailed in September how Harvin has battled migraines since he was 10 years old. He was a late addition to the injury report with an “illness” when the Vikings hosted the Bears on Nov. 29, and he missed time prior to earlier games this season.
“Just trying to get (Harvin) back to where he needs to be," Childress said.
