Biggs: More big things ahead for Cowboys Stadium

Did you happen to catch the star of the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night?

Sure, Miami’s Dwyane Wade was named the game’s MVP as he and LeBron James helped lead the East to a victory. The star of the star of the show, thought? Cowboys Stadium. The TNT broadcasters couldn’t control themselves gushing over the first-year facility. Everyone they interviewed, from Kobe Bryant to David Stern to, well, Jerry Jones beamed about the building.

It’s precisely what Jones had in mind when he designed Jerryworld. The Super Bowl is headed there next year. The Final Four isn’t far off. Now, regular-season NBA action could be headed Jones’ way. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he would like to drew play occasional regular-season games there and maybe even a playoff game, according to the Dallas Morning News.

"We would love to explore that," Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones told the Morning News.

The all-star game drew more than 100,000 folks and surely Cuban and the Joneses both see the benefit of playing there. Stay tuned.
