Biggs: Ogunleye will heal before free agency

Adewale Ogunleye may have played his final game as a Bear, but at least he got some good news on the way out.

The veteran defensive end, who will be an unrestricted free agent following the season, suffered a fractured left fibula in Sunday’s 31-7 loss at Baltimore, but it’s a minor break and no surgery will be required.

It’s expected Ogunleye will require six weeks to recover, meaning he will be fully healed well in advance of the opening of free agency.
