Biggs: Osi knocks Campbell out of game

The makeshift offensive line of the Washington Redskins has finally contributed to a serious injury.

Quarterback Jason Campbell was knocked out of the second quarter of tonight’s game with the New York Giants at FedEx Field. Giants’ defensive end Osi Umenyiora beat left tackle Levi Jones, the third player the Redskins have used at the position, and sacked Campbell from behind as he tried to escape the pocket.

Campbell suffered an undisclosed injury and was led to the locker room just before halftime. Veteran Todd Collins replaced him. It’s injury added to insult as the Giants lead the game 24-0.
