Biggs: Saints add TE Humphrey
The New Orleans Saints signed tight end Tory Humphrey to a contract today.
Starting tight end Jeremy Shockey sat out Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys with turf toe, so the Saints could be looking for a little depth.
Humphrey, who has been on the workout circuit recently, wasn’t the only tight end to get a look. New Orleans also kicked the tires of Tony Curtis and Adam Bergen, according to a league source.
Humphrey takes the place of fullback Marcus Mailei, a little more than a week after he was signed.
