Biggs: School is back in session in NFL

School is back in session in the NFL.

As part of the NFL’s Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program, players are headed to the Harvard Business School and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for four days this week.

Nicholas Cotsonika of the Detroit Free Press reported that Lions wide receiver Dennis Northcutt and guard Dylan Gandy are off to Harvard and defensive end Copeland Bryan will go to Wharton.

The NFL puts together the program every year to help assist players for their lives after football. A total of about 80 players will participate in the two programs. At Harvard, business is what they study and real estate and entrepreneurship are the topics at Wharton.
