Biggs: Seahawks get some much needed good news
The Seattle Seahawks got some good news this afternoon, and coming off the 27-3 beatdown they experienced on Sunday at Qwest Field, they were in need of some.
Cornerback Marcus Trufant took to the practice field today for the first time this year. The Seahawks’ best corner man has been ineligible as he has been on the physically unable to perform list with a back injury that he suffered prior to training camp. The hope now is that he could return to action after the Seahawks’ bye, which is this weekend.
Linebacker Leroy Hill was also back in action. He’s been out since the opener with a partially torn groin muscle, just one of the many injuries the team has been facing. Seattle next plays Nov. 1 at Dallas, and the return of Trufant, a Pro Bowler in 2007, and Hill would make the defense a different unit.
