Biggs: Super Bowl, super party set for Saints

The mother of all Super Bowl parties will kick off tonight.

The Saints are going to take the French Quarter by storm starting at 5 p.m. New Orleans time. That is when their Super Bowl parade will begin on Poydras Street, smack dab in front of the Superdome.

The Saints players, coaches and members of the organization will ride on a variety of floats donated from Mardi Gras groups. The parade will head to Loyola Avenue, turn on to Howard Avenue and through Lee Circle to St. Charles Avenue, going through the heart of a part of the country where there is revelry on a daily basis. Combine that partying, Mardi Gras season and the Who Dat nation and, well, it will be off the hook. Enjoy if you’re going to be at the scene.
