Biggs: Vikings-Cardinals moved to prime time next week

Brett Favre generates big ratings and the Minnesota Vikings are on the move to prime time.

The league announced today that the Vikings game at the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 6 has been flexed into prime time and will air at 8:20 p.m. (eastern) on NBC.

There will be plenty of Favre in prime time down the stretch. The Vikings, who could clinch the NFC North vs. the Cardinals, will play Carolina on Dec. 20 on NBC, and then will travel to Chicago the next week for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” on Dec. 28.

Bumped out of the prime time slot on Dec. 6 was the New England-Miami game, a compelling AFC East battle but not one with the same firepower as Cardinals-Vikings. How do you think that is going over with Bill Belichick?
