Biggs: Warner confident he'll be fine to start this week

Kurt Warner didn’t make any guarantees, but he’s confident he will play on Sunday when the Arizona Cardinals travel to Tennessee.

Warner left Sunday’s game at St. Louis near the end of the first half with what was reported to be a mild concussion.

“Easy now, easy,” Warner told Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic about previous head injuries. “They were a long time ago. I've had a couple minor concussions. Nothing that has been prolonged. Haven't had anything in a number of years.”

Warner was sharp enough to recall that his last concussion was in 2003. He’s expected to be monitored closely during the week and will undergo standard neurological tests.

“We were smart with it, we didn't take any chances,” Warner said. “I feel good. I think I'm going be just fine, but we'll take it day by day.”
