Biggs: Westbrook set to return at San Diego

The Philadelphia Eagles will get Brian Westbrook back Sunday when they play the San Diego Chargers with hopes of getting on a roll again after losing a grip on the NFC East lead last week.

Westbrook has missed the last two games with a concussion suffered against the Washington Redskins when his head hit the knee of linebacker London Fletcher as he was going to the ground. The inadvertent shot left Westbrook temporarily unconscious.

“He looked like he had a little bounce in his step here the last couple of days,” Reid said.

Ankle issues have cropped up again for Westbrook, but the Eagles badly need him back in the mix, even if he’s rotating with rookie LeSean McCoy.

Left tackle Jason Peters remains questionable for the game with a sprained right ankle. He didn’t practice this week. Todd Herremans would be the likely replacement if Peters can’t go, creating a juggling act on the line.
