Bills blow playoff opportunity with loss to Raiders
In hindsight, the Bills had a golden opportunity on Sunday. With the Ravens and Chiefs losing, Buffalo could have been a much better position for the postseason with a win over Oakland.
Instead, the Raiders, one of the worst teams all season, upset the Bills 26-24 behind a balanced offensive attack and opportunistic defense. Derek Car threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns with Latavius Murray and Darren McFadden combining for 140 rushing yards.
The Raiders sacked Kyle Orton two times and picked Kyle Orton off two times, almost getting another one as well. It was a disappointing day for the Bills, as their 2014 season came to an end against a team that recorded just its third win of the season over them.
