Bills' Branch signs contract extension

The Buffalo Bills have signed defensive tackle Alan Branch to a contract extension.

Branch tied a career-high with 35 tackles this season, starting a dozsen games.

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound former Michigan player signed a one-year, $3 million deal in April to join the Bills.

Branch has 166 career tackles and eight sacks in his NFL career. He spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks after entering the NFL as a second-round draft selection with the Arizona Cardinals in 2007.
