Bills don't plan to sign quarterback with Manuel sideline

Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel underwent surgery on his left knee this morning, characterized as a minor procedure by coach Doug Marrone.

Nonetheless, Manuel is out for the remainder of the preseason.

And the Bills don't plan to sign another quarterback, going with starter Kevin Kolb and Jeff Tuel as their quarterbacks.

Meanwhile, the Bills cut offensive tackle Tony Hills, defensive back Mark LeGree, wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield and defensive back Don Unamba.

The Bills will place wide receiver Kevin Elliott on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
