Bills Pro Bowler Marcell Dareus reaches plea deal on car racing charges
Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl defensive tackle Marcell Dareus reached a plea agreement in his car racing case where he crashed his Jaguar into a tree in the Buffalo suburbs last year.
Dareus was ticketed for failure to keep right and imprudent speed, getting fined $150 apiece.
Dareus agreed to hold a free football camp this summer.
Dareus is a two-time Pro Bowl pick who was previously facing reckless endangerment charges for allegedly racing teammate Jerry Hughes near Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Dareus previously had an arrest for possession of synthetic marijuana in Alabama, but he resolved those charges by entering an NFL substance-abuse program.
Dareus had 10 sacks last season, a career-high.
