Bills release veteran Lindell
Last February, veteran kicker Rian Lindell signed a four-year extension worth $11 million.
On Monday, the Buffalo Bills released him. LIndell was the team's longest-tenured player, having played in Buffalo for 10 seasons.
The Bills, according to the team's website, apparently have decided to go with rookie Dustin Hopkins, a sixth-round draft pick with a strong leg, whose consistency has been an issue at times thus far.
