Bills renew lease at Ralph Wilson Stadium
The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a new 10-year lease at the stadium that bears team owner Ralph Wilson's name.
The deal contains a heavy relocation penalty, according to the Buffalo News.
The agreement will be formally announced at a press conference at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
According to the report, the deal has an interesting out clause after seven years. The relocation fee is reportedly $400 million, but after the seventh year, is curiously only $29 million.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the first seven years to see if anything triggers the Bills opting out for the $29 million should an interesting suitor, such as Los Angeles or Toronto, come calling.
