Bills safety: Toronto is not a home game

The Buffalo Bills have quite the following in Toronto and southern Ontario, enough that the team for the past few seasons has scheduled a "home" game once a year in the venue originally christened as Skydome.

But safety George Wilson told the Buffalo News that the game against the Washington Redskins is actually an international game that happens to count as one of the Bills' eight home games.

"It's not a home game. We're playing an international game that counts as a home game because it's relatively closer to Buffalo. We're ambassadors of the game, trying to globalize the sport. So we understand that," Wilson said. "But at the same time, it's certainly not the same environment that we have here in Ralph Wilson Stadium."

Wilson said that unlike a game at the Ralph, there will probably be loud cheers for the Redskins as well on Sunday, further detracting from any "home" atmosphere intended for the Bills.
