Bills sign linebacker Jamaal Westerman

The Buffalo Bills went back to defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's connections, signing former New York Jets linebacker Jamaal Westerman.

Westerman entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with theJets in 2009. He spent his first three years with the Jets before joining the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts last season.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Rutgers product has appeared in 45 games with three starts and recorded 53 tackles (40 solo) and 5 1/2 sacks.
