Bills sign Matt Mulligan
The Buffalo Bills signed veteran free agent tight end Matt Mulligan.
The 6-foot-4, 267-pound Maine product originally entered the league in 2008 as an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins. After spending the 2008 season on the Dolphins practice squad, Mulligan caught on with the Jets in 2009 and stayed with the team until joining St. Louis in 2012. He also spent time with the New England Patriots in 2013 and the Chicago Bears/Tennessee Titans in 2014.
Mulligan has played in 69 career games, starting 26, catching 16 balls for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bills cut defensive back Merrill Noel.
