Bills trying to sign Josh McCown today
The Buffalo Bills are attempting to sign former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown today as he visits the team, according to ESPN.
McCown, 35, was cut last week by Tampa Bay one year into a two-year, $10 million contract.
McCown struggled last season when he passed for 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions and was replaced by Mike Glennon.
The Bills could definitely use McCown.
Starting quarterback Kyle Orton retired.
They only have EJ Manuel on the roster.
McCown landed the big deal with the Buccaneers after he excelled in five starts for the Bears when Jay Cutler was hurt. He passed for 13 touchdowns, one interception and had a 109.0 quarterback rating.
