Brad Meester to retire at season's end

Jaguars center Brad Meester, a staple of the organization for 14 seasons, announced that he will retire at the end of this season.

Having already played 207 games for Jacksonville, the most any in franchise history, it's expected that he'll conclude his career with 209 games under his belt.

“I think there will be a bunch of emotions,” Meester said, via the team’s website. “It’s going to be tough leaving this game because I’ve done it for so long. I know I’m going to miss the memories and the things that happen in the locker room, but it’s going to be exciting, too.”
