Brady wants to play for as long as he can
Tom Brady won't be pulling a Brett Favre when it comes to how long he will play.
Brady tells Peter King of Sports Illustrated that he wants to play for as long as he can. So that means don't have any yearly retirement watches during the off-season for the New England Patriots quarterback.
"My wife [Gisele Bundchen] said to me, 'When I met you [in 2006], you said you wanted to play 10 more years. How come that number never goes down?' It's that I love the game. I love the game. I'm going to play until they tell me they don't want me anymore.''
Brady said he acts as if he has to continually prove himself to Patriots coach Bill Belichick, even though the two have been to five Super Bowls together with New England.
