Brandon Marshall not worried about contract extension
Bears receiver Brandon Marshall is entering the final year of the four-year contract he agreed to in 2010.
But though he's only got one year left, and the fact he wants to remain with the Bears organization, he told Chicago radio station WMVP-AM that he's not going to worry about it.
"If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, I'm glad to be a Bear for another year and I'm going to force them to sign me after next year," Marshall told the radio station, via ESPN.com. "One way or another, they're going to get the deal done."
Since 2007, Marshall has gone over the 1,000-yard receiving mark each season. In 2013, he hauled in 100 receptions for 1,295 yards and a career-high 12 touchdowns.
