Breaking down Charles Clay's $38 million deal

Buffalo Bills tight end Charles Clay's five-year $38 million contract includes a $10 million signing bonus and $24.5 million guaranteed, according to a league source. Clay has salary-cap figures of $5 million, $13.5 million, $6.5 million, $6.5 million and $6.5 million. Clay has a guaranteed $3 million base salary in 2015, a $1.5 million base salary in 2016 guaranteed if he's on the roster the third day of the 2016 league year, a $10 million roster bonus fully guaranteed, and $4.5 million base salaries in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
