Brian Schottenheimer leaves Rams, becomes Georgia offensive coordinator, OC

St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has been hired as the University of Georgia offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Schottenheimer is the son of former NFL coah Marty Schottenheimer.

Schottenheimer was the offensive coordinator with the New York Jets from 2006 to 2011 before joining the Rams in 2012.

Schottenheimer drew mixed reviews as the Rams' play-caller.
