Broncos do three-year deal for tight end Virgil Green

The Denver Broncos held onto tight end Virgil Green with a three-year contract. Green was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent. “Virgil has been a big part of our team the last four years and will continue to be in the future,” Broncos general manager John Elway said. “He’s been a reliable, solid contributor since the day he was drafted. We’re very excited Virgil is returning to the Broncos.” Green caught 23 passes for 206 yards last season. Green also plays fulback and H-back.
