Broncos don't expect to bring back Knowshon Moreno

Knowshon Moreno picked a great year to have his best NFL season.

In the final year of his rookie contract, Moreno has run for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's been an asset to teammate Peyton Manning in blitz pickups and has become an all-around back.

But due to Moreno's emergence, the Broncos are fearful they will not be able to bring back Moreno in 2014, according to a report from NFL.com.

Thing is, as good as Moreno has been for the Broncos, the plan all along has been to make Montee Ball the running back of the future for this team. So if Moreno does in fact walk, the Broncos will still be on schedule with who they want at the position.
