Broncos officially open Manning Era
Let the Peyton Manning Era officially be christened for the Denver Broncos.
Manning has been busy working out with teammates in informal settings and the like, but today the Broncos begin their organized team activities, their first with their future Hall of Fame quarterback and free agent acquisition at the controls of the offense. It will also be the media's first glimpse of the Broncos' off-season program as well.
One of the most interesting things about these camps, besides the obvious attraction of Manning and his health, of course, will be how Manning's Swiss watch precision passing offense meshes with Coach John Fox's ground and pound style, says the Denver Post.
The stat of Fox's teams' records when given at least 25 points (39-3) is also pointed out in the report, given that Manning's teams in Indianapolis put up that average or better in 10 of 12 years there.
